Meet the Ovus
Our crane barge is one of the heaviest lifting cranes in the entire world. She can lift 600 tons at a 100-ft radius!
This allows us to pick tugboats, barges, fishing vessels, and more. When something sinks and becomes a navigational hazard, the Ovus will be there to remove it.
See the Ovus in action on a recent job!
The Ovus recently removed a wreck of a 300ft long barge which had broken in half after improper loading in the New York Metropolitan area.
Our
Story
The El Shaddai
The Ovus lifted this old fishing vessel, known as the El Shaddai, and lowered it onto a barge for transportation to a scrap yard. The old boat had nearly rusted away. Once it was stripped of all port holes, the engine, and other equipment, it was ready for its final journey.
